Location
Gilleleje Badehotel is located only 50 kilometers from Copenhagen and 22 kilometers from Elsinore. More specifically it is located on North Zealand’s most northern point “Gilbjerghoved”, where Øresund meets Kattegat. This area offers a wealth of options, no matter if you are here for business or pleasure.

The beach
The beach lies right below the hotel. You will find steps leading down to the beach from the walking track “Gilbjergsstien”. Gilleleje town centre and Gilleleje harbour
Reaching Gilleleje town centre and Gilleleje harbour will take you 15 minutes by foot and 2 minutes by car. You will not regret giving yourself the wonderful experience of a walk down “Gilbjergstien” in front of the hotel, following the track all the way down town and taking a stroll around the harbour. During this walk you will have a beautiful view over the ocean and you will experience the walk as pure mental relaxation!
The station
The station is located 1,5 km from the hotel. From here you will be able to go on day trips to other towns, for example Hornbæk (15 minutes), Elsinore (30 minutes) and Hillerød (30 minutes).
